Are you going to be in Cancun on a Thursday? Do you enjoy seafood? Do you like drinking ice cold beers? Then this is the tour you have to do!

The tour is hosted by Cancun Manny. It includes round trip transportation from/to your accommodations in Cancun, and a visit to two local, non touristy establishments in downtown Cancun.

The first spot we would visit would be El Camaron Ambulante. This is a spot that has become popular by word of mouth only. Here you order beers, and they bring out beers plus appetizers. The more beers you order, the more appetizers they bring out. Cost of each beer is a bit less than $3 USD (a bit high for us locals) but they more than make up for the cost with the amazing seafood appetizers they include with each of their drinks. You can also order food from the menu, but usually there is no need.

The second spot we would visit would be El Va Q' Va. This is a full menu seafood restaurant that usually has over 100 locals enjoying meals with their families. They also have the best micheladas with shrimp in town. They offer lobster, shrimp cooked pretty much any way you want, fried fish, etc.

Cost of the tour is $40 USD per person

Includes:

• Round trip transportation from/to your resort in Cancun.
• A host that would be with you and help you translate since both of these spots don't have English speaking staff or English menus
• The first round of drinks at El Camaron Ambulante
• A one liter Michelada with shrimp and the beer of your choice at El Va Q' Va
  

You would be responsible for the additional drinks and food that you order, plus tips/gratuity for the waiters, host and the driver.

Both of these spots work with cash only, no credit cards. They do accept US dollars, but at a very low exchange rate. If you don't already have pesos let us know when we pick you up so we can make a stop at a money exchange place where you will get a much better exchange rate.

This is an adult oriented tour, but teens are welcome. Folks have to be 18 years or older to drink in Mexico, but both establishments do allow underage clients as long as they don't consume alcoholic drinks.

Seafood and Beers with Manny will only run on Thursdays.  Pickups will be scheduled between 2:00pm and 2:30pm in Cancun's hotel zone and drop offs will be done between 8:00pm and 8:30pm.
